WooCommerce Amazon Fulfillment is Officially Back

The latest version (3.2.3) is NOW available for purchase at woocommerce.com as well as an auto-update for active subscriptions through the WooCommerce Extensions manager in your WordPress Dashboard!

As you probably already know, WooCommerce Amazon Fulfillment automatically ships orders from your WooCommerce site to your customers using Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA). But just in case you want a quick refresher, watch the video below:

OK, so long story short, near the end of last year Amazon dramatically changed the developer registration process, which was a critical step in configuring WCAF. To ensure that the extension would continue working in the future we had to rebuild how it talks to Amazon for authorizing each request between your WooCommerce install and Amazon’s servers. We’re thrilled to bring you the news that effort is complete and was a success!

In order to ensure that your installation of WCAF will continue to properly talk to Amazon’s Servers, please follow the detailed instructions found here to easily switch over to this new authentication mode.

IMPORTANT: If you are in the North America Region (including Canada, the U.S., Mexico, and Brazil) or the Europe Region (including the United Kingdom (UK), France, Spain, Germany, Italy, India, Turkey, United Arab Emirates (UAE)) this new mode is available immediately and you only need to follow the step-by-step connection directions in that link above.

Version 3.2.3 also supports a legacy mode for the other Amazon regions if you have previously been approved by Amazon for your own MWS Developer credentials. Those regions include the Far East Region (Japan and Australia) and the China Region. However, we are also working hard to get the new authentication mode ready for these regions too, so keep your eyes out for a new version that will add this capability in the near future. When it’s available, the instructions above will be identical for you.

You can also find connection setting instructions right in the plugin itself, which gives specific details depending on the region you have selected.

For more detailed information on the history of this issue you can see this article.

As always, the WooCommerce Amazon Fulfillment integration is still a quick and easy process to set up.  WCAF comes with a variety of options ranging from complete auto-pilot all the way down to specific product shipping options, if desired. In fact, if you’re brand new to WCAF it’s easier than ever to set up. However, if you need any support please do not hesitate to reach out!
