JellyTelly was running into a variety of issues that commonly confront products in the version 1 phase of their life cycle. It’s membership growth rate was stagnating due to a spectrum of reasons. Some of these from the user perspective included a site architecture and design that made content discovery too difficult, the lack of search functionality, and no self-serve tools for membership management. The version 1 platform was also preventing growth from an organization standpoint. Among other issues, it could not capture consolidated analytics across devices and services, the process of adding new content was tedious and error-prone, and there was no flexibility for testing different price points and member levels. They also had no third party distribution points like iOS apps, Android Apps, and TV Apps like Roku.

Opened up unlimited new marketing experiment opportunities through a new membership platform that supports incredible flexibility in membership levels, pricing, and subscription terms.
Dramatically improved the amount of SEO content available to search engines by automating conversion opportunity funnels around the minimal amount of protected content.
Provided new self-serve membership account tools reducing the customer support previously required to perform those functions.
Designed a more robust interface and user experience for members allowing them easier access the content that is most important too their families.
Enabled the content team to quickly add new content of any type to the site and automatically publish to all device types (web, mobile, Roku, etc.) without any tech team support required. The same process previously required tech team intervention to update feeds and fix syncing issues.
Eliminated dozens of quarterly man hours previously required to manually compiled royalty reports–new consolidated analytics automatically report on the metrics needed.
Equipped the marketing team and the customer support team with a marketing automation platform that can trigger retention-oriented or recapture messaging based on user activity and behavior in the custom web application.
