Premium Wordpress Plugins
One of the challenges that we needed to solve for our Osana Project was automating fulfillment and shipping. We looked high and low for an existing solution to integrate WooCommerce with Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), but couldn’t find anything. However, we found lots of other people searching for the exact same thing. It blew our minds that no one had done this yet despite several prominent conversations about it on relevant forums going back years.
Never Settle Supplies
So we built it. For ourselves. And for every other merchant who also wanted to integrate their WooCommerce store with Amazon’s popular fulfillment services. Since we needed it for Osana, we knew that any feature request development and support time required would also benefit our own cart. Due to the existing market demand, and no other supply, we quickly jumped to the top SEO positions for relevant searches. It has quickly become one of our best customer-driven premium WordPress plugins.
Amazon FBA APIs and WooCommerce APIs
APIs are always interesting to work with. Some are amazing. Some are horrendous. Amazon’s FBA documentation and APIs are pretty good, but there were a few snags. Some of their current PHP libraries and examples contained bugs. It took some reverse engineering and experimenting, but our talented team got it done. One of our strengths is a stubborn competitiveness. Once we decide to do something we don’t give up. We often find ourselves creatively solving problems through unconventional methods when conventional methods fail or fall short.
The WooCommerce APIs are pretty amazing. It’s one of the reasons we love WooCommerce and use it for all of our own e-commerce in WordPress. It’s also one of the reasons we love building things for it like NS FBA. However, there have been a few bumps along the road with WooCommerce too. We try to take it in stride and leapfrog the issues to discover new ways of innovating.
Everything you’d expect from premium WordPress plugins
We support our premium plugins and are very responsive to bug reports. We also want to ensure that our plugins are delivering powerful and valuable features. NS FBA for WooCommerce tackles some pretty complex objectives, allowing the WooCommerce merchant using Amazon Fulfillment to:
- Test their connection to Amazon to make sure WooCommerce is successfully talking to FBA
- Completely automate shipping for orders placed on their own e-commerce site
- Sync inventory levels from their FBA inventory in Amazon to their WooCommerce stock
- Manually send orders to FBA for fulfillment
- View the new custom statuses of every order to see what has been successfully fulfilled or not
- Retrieve reports and logs from the order notes with all the details about the data getting sent from WooCommerce to Amazon for order fulfillment
- Receive email notifications when an order fails to be fulfilled by Amazon for any reason
- And much more!
We were a long-time FBA merchant and desired an “off Amazon” presence with a lot more control of our brand. WooCommerce was the preferred cart but we had no idea how to automatically get orders to FBA. Several days of searching led us to NS FBA and at first we thought someone was playing a cruel joke – could it really be as simple as installing a plugin? YES, it is! And it’s truly seamless – orders come into Woo, get sent to FBA, inventory #’s get updated, customers are happy, we are happy. What’s even more incredible, the NS team was so proactive in adding features, it’s almost like we had our own dev team. These guys are beyond helpful/talented and it shows up in their work. Our business has grown substantially thanks to NS FBA and we are extremely grateful.
This plugin is EXACTLY what I needed for my website! Amazon FBA is a no-brainer for companies with products to ship, but logistics and shipping discounts to be desired, and WooCommerce lacks any integration with FBA out of the box. After scouring the internet, NSFBA is the only solution I have found that lets me select which products I want fulfilled though FBA, and map corresponding FBA shipping methods to the WooCommerce shipping options. Nice and simple, and it works flawlessly. The thoughtful responses and quick updates I received from Andrew are icing on the cake!
